THE BRIEF
Recommended to us by Kim Brough, Keswick Adventures were looking to redesign their website, and ensure they were effectively positioned as the leading outdoor adventure activity provider in Keswick and The Lake District.
Kim has been working with Keswick Adventures for several years, working on their SEO, website updates, copywriting, and social media.
THE APPROACH
Taking a map of the existing pages and URL structure, we initially focused on ensuring the activities available would be accessible as easily as possible, introducing clear on-page navigation to both the Home page and other pages.
This fed into the initial website page designs, allowing the activities to be presented with clear options for finding out more, or booking online.
We retained the same URL structure as the previous website, to minimise any SEO impact from changing websites, whilst integrating the scripts needed to allow continued use of the existing online booking system (FareHarbor).
THE RESULTS
The resulting website brings the desired navigation improvements and on-brand aesthetics together, creating an inviting and easily navigated website.
Ongoing support has been provided to Kim, allowing her to edit and update the development website, ready to go live.
All blog content was migrated from the old website, and as always, our technical SEO approach ensures fast page load times and efficiency of content delivery through the Amazon CloudFront CDN platform.
