Phase 1 was a very fast turnaround on a website to advertise the items from a forthcoming auction, we literally had 7 days to put the basic site together for them, and we managed this with a short amount of time to spare! Documentation was provided along with phone support for them to populate the initial items for visitors to browse.
Phase 2 was enabling the full e-commerce features of the site and completing the overall design to the client's satisfaction. The original design was completely overhauled as part of this phase, and resulted in a stunning e-commerce website offering a fully responsive design to support native mobile and tablet browsing.
As part of Phase 2, we also enabled an automatically synchronised link between the website products and their eBay sales, to bring centralised management of stock, orders and payments all into the website itself. The aim was to reduce workload and remove the need to create separate product listings in each place as well as ensuring stock levels were updated automatically wherever the item was sold.
Initially we have setup online payment via PayPal which does not require a https/SSL certificate to be installed on the website, however we have provided for the option of enabling card payments via 'Stripe' which would need the SSL security to be in place to ensure secure credit and debit card sales for customers.
