Stoneraise Primary School in Carlisle approached us to completely re-design their existing website, and ensure the new design was responsive and mobile friendly.
The brief was very clear, to create a colourful website, with easy and clear navigation. The school also wished to have the ability to manage many areas of the website themselves, including editing and creating new articles, menus, the gallery and also an integrated blog.
Using a comprehensive and easy to use content management system with some initial training and documentation, the school have quickly got to grips with making the most of their new website. Being able to quickly add new downloads, content and make changes to the website whenever they need to, the school have been really pleased to take ownership of their own website, it has been really great to see how much they are using it for!
We worked with Cumbria County Council to ensure the transition to the new website was done correctly, and ensured that our automated backup runs on a nightly bases, keeping a fixed number of backup files available to help manage disk space usage.
